Goal
The goal of Program Eight is to introduce students to Zambia's Emmaus
Spirituality Centre, a place where young Zambians just out of high school
can begin to understand what it means to be a priest serving Zambia's Roman
Catholics. Interviews with Lusaka's Fr. Cornelius Hankomoone, S.S. Rector of Emmaus Spirituality Centre, Fr. Bernard Zulu, National Director,
Pontifical Mission Societies, Zambia, and others.

2. Ask students to form small groups to describe the following:
Describe some aspects of training for candidates thinking
about becoming priests in Zambia.
What do people in charge of training priests in Zambia think
are the most important qualities of being a priest in Zambia?

What does the Canadian Church need to learn from the Zambian
