Goal
The goal of Program Five is to introduce students to how empowering the poor is a byword of Scarboro Missions' charism; how its meaning varies greatly
according to the situation, sometimes on the big scale, sometimes very
small. But in all cases, Scarboro's missionaries work to give people as
children of God a sense of dignity that comes with achieving more control
over the economic and social factors determining their lives.
Steps
1. Show the internet TV video - "Program Five: Empowering the Poor"
2. Ask students to form small groups to describe the following impressions from the video:
