Goal

The goal of Program Two is to show how care for the environment is now included in the Sisters’ justice and peace ministries.

Steps

1. Show the video "Program Two: Providence in Action"

2. Ask students to form small groups to describe the following impressions from the video:

• What are the current ministries of the Sisters of Providence of St. Vincent de Paul?
• Why are these ministries important to the Sisters of
  Providence?
• What did you know after viewing the video that you didn't know before?
• Give three reasons why Canadian Catholics should support the work of Sisters of Providence of St. Vincent de Paul.

3. Option for Take-Home Assignment. Using the internet, find more facts about:

• The work that the Sisters of Providence currently take part in.
• 5 ministries that the Sisters of Providence are involved with.
• 5 important facts about the social and /or economic
  conditions for the people in one of these ministries.
• How Canadian Catholics can support the work of Sisters of Providence.
